Stephanie Mallahan, MPH

RENEW Team Research Assistant PhD Student, Clinical Translational Sciences

Stephanie is a PhD student in the Clinical Translational Sciences program at the University of Arizona. She obtained her Master's of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from the University of Arizona, and holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Washington. She has worked as clinical research coordinator in Tucson, and for several years in Seattle, WA prior to starting graduate school. Stephanie works with the RENEW Team as a research assistant across several projects. Her research interests are broadly in the interactions of women's health and perinatal health. Specifically, she is interested in substance misuse in women, the role of hormones, maternal/infant bonding, and maternal stress and social support. Outside of research, Stephanie likes swimming, kickboxing, yoga, listening to podcasts and hanging with her two wacky cats.
