Fiscal and Regulatory Manager A research professional with dental public health background who believes in serving people and helping others. She is completing her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Arizona and has experience taking care of finances and regulatory submissions in research programs. She accomplished Global Clinical Scholar Research Training from Harvard Medical School. She is looking forward to working with RENEW team as she believes every women is special and research on pregnant women is an important part of community health. She likes to spend time with her family and is fond of cooking in her free time.

Alexandra Harris (she/her) is a Research Study Coordinator for the RENEW Team's ROBIN Project. With a background in public health, Alex's goal is to support at-risk populations to promote healthier foundations for communities. She is passionate about using research to implement change not only at the levels of individual and community, but also at policy and systems levels. Alex enjoys spending time with her family (including 2 cats and a dog), cooking, exploring nature and playing board and video games.

RENEW Team Assistant Director

Alma serves as the Assistant Director of the RENEW Research Team. Prior to joining the RENEW Team, she was employed as the Assistant Director of the Arizona Smokers' Helpline. Her education comprises a Bachelors in Political Science and Masters in Mexican American Studies, emphasizing comparative ethnic studies from San Jose State University. Her certifications include; National Certification for Tobacco Treatment Practice (NCTTP) from ATTUD, Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist from the Mayo Clinic, Instructional Specialist Certified Nicotine Dependence Treatment, Certified Tobacco Intervention Skills for Native Communities, Instructor Tobacco Intervention Skills Certification, and Certified Tobacco Intervention Skills for Maternal & Child Health from the HealthCare Partnership.
